Hands on Office Hysteroscopy Training workshop, 14 April, 2012
On 14 April 2012 MEC has organized “Hands on Office Hysteroscopy workshop” at North Point Hospital, New Delhi under the guidance of Dr. Rahul Manchanda. The workshop involved personalized one to one hands on training experience for all the delegates (11 in number) in Office Hysteroscopy. It entailed practical presentations, assembling of the instruments, actually performing diagnostic and in some cases operative hysteroscopy by the delegates.

There were 11 participants Participants were from Faridabad, Delhi and one all the way from Kanpur

- Five surgeries were conducted
- All patients were discharged either the same day or the next day (Laparo-hysteroscopy)
- The surgeries were relayed live to the lecture room for the participants that were not scrubbed up.

Informal lecture-discussions were held on
Hysteroscopic resection practice on Pig bladder specimen was given in the afternoon session Newer equipment’s in the market were introduced along with this session.
Certificates of attendance were handed out and valuable feedback from the participants was taken for future courses.
